Catch up

Well, I don’t have a lot to share tonight. The week is almost over and I’m excited to get out this weekend. These upcoming months are incredibly eventful for artists I like. Caravan Palace released an album earlier this month, the 2012 Hawkeye omnibus comes out in early November, Fallout 4 soon thereafter, and White Donkey by Maximilian Uriarte in December. I don’t know how my wallet is going to feel after all this but I’m excited.

Today I had a great day at work. I got off and bought groceries and went car shopping. Hopefully I’ll have something within the next month or so. It’ll be nice to have a way to get around the island. Anyways, I have to cut this short. I want to watch “And the band played on” and the movie is 2 1/2 hours long. It’s been recommended and I have to watch it!

Have a good night everyone!

BLOGtober day twenty two!

Right now there are only three more days until I’m home again for the first time in 9 months. I feel like this is something that I need – I’ve hit the point where going home will be restorative rather than damaging. I miss my cat, I miss my sister, I miss my old room. I spent this week packing and today I shipped the last of my boxes. Tomorrow will be spend packing my bags and cleaning my room up.

As much as I’m sad about leaving this place, I’m also grateful for the opportunities to meet new people. There are so many amazing people that I’ve gotten to know in the past 9 months. May 27th was the last day I spent at home. That was quite a bit ago, I didn’t even go home for Christmas.

It’ll be exciting to go home and see all the things that I left behind. Especially my camera, I really miss my camera. And I just remembered that I have a pair of white jeans that I really miss wearing. It’ll be weird to see all the things that I had left behind!

Anyways, I think I’m going to keep this post short. I want to start a project like Gretchen Rubin’s Happiness Project soon. Her methodology looks great and I’m working through her book now!

Random snipit;
The universe will give you whatever it is that you need, whether that be a rude coworker to teach you patience or an awkward kiss to remind you that there are still people interested in you. I’m started to see the equation and how it plays in my life.

Navel Oranges

As I’ve mentioned the last few days, I’ve started a Facebook page for sharing music! I’ve only gotten a couple posts in but two of my friends have joined me and it’s exciting! It’s exciting introducing my friend and it’s exciting to share things that we are passionate about with the world! I hope that this is a great experience for the both of them and perhaps, one day, start blogging! Navel Oranges music blog is in a bit of a pit right now but I’ll get back into it tomorrow when I write an article! I’m not even sure who I’m going to write about yet! Big surprise I don’t even know yet! :-p
