So this weekend I finally got internet. For the last six months I’ve been using a 5-gig hotspot on my phone. I couldn’t stream music, movies, I never watched Netflix, and I spent little time using the internet on my laptop because I had so little data. Most of the content I looked at was through my phone, which was low quality.

Now that I have internet again, I spent some time going through Tumblr and watching high quality videos on YouTube. Viewing content on larger devices certainly makes everything look better. It also eases communication because I can finally Skype.

It’s funny how easy it to appreciate something once it’s been gone for a long time. We’re so accustomed to having internet everywhere, I can’t imagine what it would be like 30 years ago when people actually had to go outside. Now we can stream music, talk with people on the other side of the world, log onto Facebook. I just wanted to say that I’m grateful for having a connection again!
