Dental Work

After visiting the dentist today, I was told that I have the option of getting my wisdom teeth removed. The dentist said that they’re growing a little sideways and could turn out to be a problem in the future. However, I don’t think I want to get them out. I’m afraid that I’ll lose the nerve that gives my bottom lip feeling and I don’t want unnecessary surgery.

Regardless I don’t want to have problems with my teeth in the future. My wisdom teeth don’t cause me any problems right now and they’re almost coming in. I dislike thinking about all of this but I’m going to need to make a decision about it! What a silly thing to worry about though.

I’ll update you all in a couple weeks when I follow up and decide! Not that any of you care about my teeth! If you’ve had wisdom teeth removed or decided to keep them, what is your input? Should I get them removed?

  1. I’ve had them out and they do help prevent future. It’s very normal to remove them as some people may not have enough room in their mouth to accomodate them or in your case to prevent future issues.

If you do go ahead and remove them, do not use straws or do many sucking actions after the procedure as it can remove the clot and lead to other issues which I learned the hard way.
