If you haven’t seen Vines before, basically they are extremely short video clips with little context to tell you what you’re watching. You are subjected to the middle of a conversation and a lot of the humor comes from “what the heck did I just watch?”. Thomas Sander’s videos are a great example of this! What’s so great is that you don’t have to commit to watching a 5 minute video to get a little humor.
As social media changes further, it’ll be interesting to see how much the information gets compressed as well. Right now we’ve got 60 second news, SnapChat, and tons of other compressed social media. It’s obvious that “we like things fast”, so as time progresses, perhaps this will shorten further.
